Beso de Tango

Beso de Tango is Calgary’s premiere tango dance club, offering monthly dance events, group and private lessons, and other resources for those passionate about tango. They were in need of a brand, online presence including a website with event calendar, Facebook page, monthly promotions and a managed monthly mailing list.

Project Included

Brand Development

Beso de Tango was a new dance club when we began working with them. They were heavily involved in the Calgary dance community, but didn’t have their own brand developed.

We worked with them to create a bold brand to carry across all their media channels, and created all the various print pieces they needed to promote their business both online and offline.

Graphic Design

They needed eye catching promotional materials to attract potential new tango dancers via social media and at dance events. We created bold monthly event posters which are also used on their website, social media and the monthly email marketing.

We also created business cards, brochures, t-shirts, coffee mugs, promotional pins, event collateral and signage for outside classrooms, so attendees know where to find the classes.

Website

The Beso de Tango website is a on a mobile responsive WordPress site, with a calendar/event system that links automatically into their email software.

They are able to manage their own website content including; uploading images from events and posting upcoming classes, monthly events and special announcements.

By auto-linking their website and mailing list, we were able to greatly reduce their admin time while keeping their community connected.

Promotional Design

Beso de Tango holds monthly themed events, as well as twice-yearly special wine tasting dinner/dances.

As these events grew more popular they wanted to put a greater emphasis on the enjoyment of wine, so we created event collateral including wine placemats and a wine-tasting info guide.
