Learning Experience Website Redesign

Learning Experience Website Redesign | Varro Creative

The Project

Learning Experience is a Calgary-based daycare and early childhood learning center that provides kindergarten, preschool, and childcare services to south Calgary parents. They are highly regarded for their quality children’s learning opportunities and are passionate about creating a space for children to learn and grow.

Their website was many years old and becoming very outdated. It didn’t work on mobile, so was losing traffic due to Google’s strong preference to mobile responsiveness, and was difficult to update. As well the images were out of date and the content really needed to be simplified to better serve their target audience. They approached us to redesign their website in a simple but also fun way that was easy for them to maintain themselves.

Our Approach

We kept their website on a WordPress platform to ensure that it could be easily updated as needed and created a colorful and highly visual design. We added some motion and stock imagery to make the site really pop and simplified the navigation so it’s very easy for users to find what they are looking for. Their programs are front and center and parents can see at a glance how the school stands. Now the Center can update their registration forms and program information easily, and the website works perfectly on any device.

WordPress is one of our favorite website design platforms, and we love the flexibility to create bold and highly functional websites.  A new website design can ensure a business looks professional and modern, as well as save the business admin time. By building a website that is easy to update, we can empower the client to save on website update costs and ensure the information they want to share is available to potential customers 24/7. It was a pleasure working with them and we are very happy with how the website turned out. Take a look at the project here: www.learningexperience.com
