WordCamp Montreal was last month on August 12/13, 2017, and was another great WordPress event with lots of educational talks and networking. I had the opportunity to speak at the event and presented a new talk – on Social Media Integration with WordPress.
My talk covered a variety of ways to link a WordPress site with social media; from how to add feeds, schedule social posts from WordPress, and variety of other ways to integrate social media. I shared a few favorite plugins to achieve different kinds of social integration (and why), so it was accessible to all WordPress skill levels. Overall it was a great session and I had very positive feedback.
WordCamp Montreal was one of the best WordCamp events I have been to, with a great diversity of speakers and topics, and of course, a fantastic after party with lots of familiar faces. The two-day event was held at Concordia University in downtown Montreal.
It was lots of fun to get to know the Montreal WordPress community more, and I’m looking forward to next years event. You can see an overview of my talk here.
