The Project
Swirl Custom Cakes & Desserts is a Calgary based business offering delicious custom dessert options for weddings, birthdays and special events. They have been in business for many years, and have noticed their target market has shifted toward upmarket clientele and they needed a brand redesign and new website to reflect that.
Our Approach
We first worked together to create an elegant new brand, logo, and color pallet which they can use for marketing materials and social media. Then we worked on redeveloping their website. We decided to keep it on a WordPress platform, so they can easily update their decadent flavours and offerings, and incorporate their Instagram feed to keep the imagery on the site up-to-date and help market their beautiful products on a social platform where they have a strong following.
We also did a food photography shoot with them to capture some of their feature cakes and some photos of their beautiful owner Lynnette. Everything came together very well and we are really happy with how the project turned out. Take a look at their site here:
