Photography Talk with Foothills Camera Club (Zoom)
I have been a friend of the Foothills Camera Club for years, and have spoken several times with them over the years. It has been a quiet year for speaking events, due to many being cancelled due to the pandemic, so I was excited to be invited to speak as part of the club’s monthly Zoom Speakers series.
Speaking at WordCamp Vancouver
I am excited to be part of this year’s WordCamp Vancouver. It will be my second time presenting at the annual event, and WordCamp is always a great event filled with learning and networking opportunities.

Speaking at the Canadian Camera Conference
I am excited to announce that I will be presenting at the Canadian Camera Conference in July 2019, hosted in the gateway to the Rocky Mountains – Calgary Alberta. The event boasts 14 talented and engaging image makers who will be presenting on portraiture, landscape and wildlife photography, astrophotography and much more.
Speaking at WordCamp Calgary 2019
I am excited to be speaking again at WordCamp Calgary! This will be my third year presenting at the event, and it’s always a great opportunity to learn about web design and WordPress with the local community. The event will be hosted at Fort Calgary and talks will be all day for the Friday and Saturday. As well, there will be a kids camp for all the young tech lovers out there!
Food Photography Workshop in Calgary
Join us for a food photography workshop that covers; the essential gear, planning your shoot, basic food styling, different lighting setups, where to find props and lots of tips to get great shots.

Speaking at WordCamp Europe in Belgrade!
WordCamp Europe is the biggest event I have had the opportunity to speak at, and this year it was hosted in the incredible city of Belgrade, Serbia. The conference was a 3-day event with over 2000 attendees from all over Europe and the world.
Another Year Speaking at Calgary WordCamp
I have had the opportunity to speak at WordCamp Calgary, in my home city, quite a few times and was excited to be part of the conference again. The conference was hosted over May 25 & 26 at Fort Calgary, which is a nice, intimate venue for a tech conference.
Speaking at WordCamp Chicago
I have always wanted to visit the Windy City, and attending the fantastic WordCamp Chicago was a great way to experience the city. The two-day camp was filled with networking opportunities and great talks from other industry experts.
Food Photography Talk at the Foothills Camera Club
I have presented at the Foothills Camera Club a few times over the years, and it’s always great to share photos and knowledge with fellow photographers. This year I presented about my experience learning Food Photography through my work with Prairie Girl Bakery.
Presentation to the Food Bloggers of Canada
This fall I was excited to be a part of the Food Bloggers of Canada Association’s annual conference. The event was held in Ottawa and featured a variety of speakers, food tastings and workshops, as well as lots of great networking opportunities and take home gifts.
